They sold me a defective vehicle and knowingly kept it a secret from me. I have taken it in to the dealership and they have done some repair work that seems to correct the issue for awhile only to have it reoccur. Is this class action lawsuit still being pursued and how do I join the class action suit? Include me in the class action. Other coverage amounts are limited to 70% or 37. I first found out about it when I took my car to get an emissions test.
Do I ever feel betrayed. Apparently, plaintiffs could not prove that Mercedes was aware of the problem at the time these cars were manufactured. I would have never bought this car if I had known about the balance shaft problem or repair, especially if I had known that Mercedes wasn't standing behind their product. I've been having this problem for over a year. Use to be you could count on Mercedes for quality but Asia has it scared.
It is currently sitting at the 3rd Mercedes Dealership in Atlanta Ga I've been having the same exact issue this is absurd I took my car into keeler Mercedes and they informed me that I too have a balance shaft issue estimated my job at 6900. Someone is going to lose their life because of this problem. Three days later, the engine started running rough again. I would have to pull over and turn off the car in order for the gears to reset. I took my car in to address what I thought to be transmission issues. Don't have money to fix this issue.
What do we do, how can we get help. I only have 66,254k miles on it. Other issues are faulty sensors. I would like to be included in class action suit. I've had other problems as well.
Balance Shaft issue among many others. If anyone has any updated information about the class action lawsuit please contact me at Theresa8511 gmail. Hoping I don't have the balance shaft issue. This is by far one of the models, including E25, E30, and E35. I am also having the same issue with my 2006 C230. This is my second Mercedes and if they do not stand behind this documented issue I not only want in on the lawsuit I will never buy another Mercedes product again. .
Shortly after I bought the car just a couple of months ago it seemed not to be shifting properly, or it felt like the engine was stalling. I am getting a third opinion from a family owned Mercedes repair garage that has been in business for 28 years. This check engine light has been continuous after many visits to Mercedes certified mechanic and dealer. Shortly after I bought the car just a couple of months ago it seemed not to be shifting properly, or it felt like the engine was stalling. I want to join in this lawsuit. I was driving when the check oil levels notice came on the notice board.
Please count me in on law suit. What can I do my extended warranty recently expired 2,000 miles ago. Too much money invested and still more of the same problem and not answers. Because it is common for recommended service intervals to be exceeded, motors to be subject to severe conditions, short trips, and long periods of sitting, the greater protection of synthetic oil should be a consideration. I stopped driving as soon as it misfired but the damage was done to all the cylinders but 1.
Completely turned off by this. I already paid top dollar for the car and now they want more. Full synthetic oils have more stable shear strength with heating and even with more frequent oil changes non-synthetic oils cannot match that performance under load at high temperature. I will not allow my wife to even drive the car unless I am with her. Please email me, and I know it may sound like a strange email, but it happens to be the most secure email I have at the moment, and this is the only information I want out there. We also got a quote from another repair shop. If there is an ongoing class action I would like to join it.
