The great surprise of this album is the consistency of the tracks. You can also listen to the title track,. I bought this album after repeated listens of the title song, Froot, on YouTube. This is Marina's more-mature and more subtle third album. If this album doesn't have as many of the killer singles that exploded out of The Family Jewels and Electra Heart, it is a step forward which is positive in the context of the long game. Froot is a bit different in approach and tone, compared to Electra Heart. I'm a new fan to Marina And The Diamonds.
From the very first time I opened it it had scratches on the front and back only about 2-3 song play with out skipping this is very frustrating. The choice was a smart one, and ' third studio album, 2015's , is an atmospheric, sophisticated work that finds coming into her own as an artist. The up and coming star went to college, came out and dropped out within the past two years, leading him to pursuing his passion for music with his brother Niko. This sharply independent technique is perhaps best expressed on the fertile, tango-inflected title track, in which revels in her newfound artistic and womanly freedom. Diamandis' second studio album, , was released in April 2012, topping the charts in the United Kingdom, as well as the ; it was certified gold in both countries. The album is available for in some countries, with more expected to come soon.
Although I wasn't too keen on her sound at first, it grew on me the more I listened to her lyrics and quite breathtaking voice. This isn't too say her music is an examination of just that, but she's not afraid to cover issues and send it down with a spoonful of sugar. It's one of those records that has its own world that you can close your eyes and disappear into as the songs flow through you, one by one. Fans who buy the vinyl edition will also receive a free digital album upon release. On the contrary, , never one to shy away from sugary high camp, imbues much of with a fluorescent, celebratory independence, both musically and lyrically. If you like any of the songs, you'll probably like them all; there is no filler to skip. After signing to and , she released her debut studio album, , in February 2010.
It's easily one of my favorites. Marina has made the album available for purchase in her online store! I love that he pretends to care. Seriously, give Marina a chance. Recorded with and a working band, combines everything that was uniquely tantalizing, and pugnaciously feminist, about her debut, while also retaining just enough of the enthusiastic pop hooks and dance beats of to keep things from getting too serious -- and there is a lot of seriousness on. Check out the beautiful album cover above and the tracklisting below.

Retrieved 15 November 2010 — via. I would recommend this album for someone who needs a little cheer after a hard day. I absolutely love this album, but some how it is scratched all over! It isn't as accessible or instantly memorable as her previous two, but Froot might be more even and cohesive as a whole.
If you encounter the same problem return before its too late! I'm not going to do a song-by-song review of her album because I'm not so presumptuous as to think that I can critique such a talented artist but know this: the only thing that Marina does better than write is sing. Marina doesn't take you on some journey of self pity or loathing--she takes you on an exploration of the ironic, the sensual and the comical. There are a couple of tracks that don't do much for me, but overall it is good to hear thematic and personal growth from Marina. The songs she makes are very pop oriented but don't be fooled by its sugary sweet sound, her lyrics delve into some of the darker aspects of life, self loathing, heartbreak, even suicide. .
